Visualising Anxiety: A Zine
Visualising Anxiety: A Zine is a compilation of monoprint illustrations created in response to my research into peoples experiences with anxiety. Taking the responses to the question 'How would you visualise anxiety?' I turned the answers into prints. These illustrations are then paired with the original texts within the zine, creating an A6 publication. The zine is wrapped in folded tissue paper, forcing the reader to engage in extracting the zine before they can begin to read it. The tissue paper is delicate and over time will lose the crisp folds, eventually becoming impossible to wrap the zine up in the same way again. This provokes feelings of anxiety within the reader, creating an emotional interaction with the themes of the zine.
